A man wanted by Battlefords RCMP for assault causing bodily harm is in custody.
Police were called to Battlefords Union Hospital early Sunday morning for a report of an unconscious woman.
Staff were stabilizing her so she could be taken to a Saskatoon hospital for further medical treatment.
She was last reported to be in serious, but non-life-threatening condition.

An arrest warrant was issued for Jay Shia, 30, in the violent assault.
In a release on Tuesday, RCMP said Shai had been taken into custody.
Police have not released any other details.
