Man facing arson charge after pregnant woman found dead at fire granted bail

A man charged with arson has been released on $5,000 bail, and strict conditions.

A Saskatoon provincial court judge granted bail to Jonathan Rosenthal, 39, on Thursday.

Rosenthal was charged after a house fire at 229 Ave. F North on July 6.

Authorities would later discover the remains of Crystal Louise McFadyen, 37, inside the home. She was eight months pregnant.

Police said McFadyen was known to Rosenthal.
