Ontario Provincial Police charged a Hamilton man with impaired driving following a traffic investigation in Cayuga.

Officers were called Saturday night after a citizen reported a vehicle driving erratically on Haldimand Road 17.

Police say they stopped the vehicle on Kohler Road and while speaking with the driver, they noticed signs of impairment.

Karl Grotke, 39, of Hamilton was arrested and has been charged with impaired driving and driving a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor.

His driver’s licence was automatically suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded.
