Canada-wide warrant issued for federal offender

R.O.P.E Squad

The provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement or ROPE Squad is looking for the public’s help in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant on suspicion of breaching his parole.

48-year-old Carlos Leonardo Olivera is serving four-year sentence for robbery, robbery with threats of violence, and disguise with intent.

He is described as white, about six feet tall, 220 pounds, and with black hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on both arms and legs.

The offender is known to frequent the Greater Toronto and Peel Region areas.

Anyone having contact with this offender or information in regards to his whereabouts is asked to contact the provincial ROPE Squad at 416-808-5900 or toll-free at 1-866-870-7673 (ROPE) or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or call 911.
