The Winnipeg Humane Society has reached capacity for cats and is holding a promotion to help felines find their forever homes.
On Friday and Saturday, the Humane Society is waiving adoption fees for cats.
“By adopting a cat for free this weekend you are saving the lives of two cats — the one adopted and the one you make room for at the shelter,” a news release from the Humane Society said.
You can see some of the cats up for adoption online.
The regular adoption process will still apply and the Humane Society says it will be accepting donations.
