A fire at a second-floor apartment on Raymond Street remains under investigation.
The Guelph Fire Department responded to reports of a fire at an apartment at 125 Raymond St. around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday. Crews found dark smoke and visible flames emitting from the balcony.
Fire crews contained the blaze to the single apartment unit, but smoke damage could still be seen in the connecting hallway.
Officials say no tenants or firefighters were injured in the incident.
The cause of the fire, along with an estimate of damage, remains under investigation by Guelph Fire Department’s prevention bureau.
Tenants were originally displaced due to the fire but have since been allowed back into their units.
