Police said in a statement on Sunday that Jammar Allison was last seen on Friday at around 10 p.m. in the Highway 427 and Rexdale Boulevard area.

Investigators said Allison was seen being escorted into a dark Caravan with tinted windows. It allegedly happened outside the restaurant Da House of Jerk, where Allison was a regular customer, a waitress told Global News on Monday.

Supt. Ron Taverner told Global News on Monday that police believe three men were involved. The vehicle believed to have been used, however, has not been located.

Taverner said that Allison’s family was contacted and money was demanded for his return. The family paid the ransom before contacting police and Taverner said there has been no contact and Allison has not been seen since that time.

Allison was known to police, but Taverner said that it has no bearing on this incident.

Police said Allison was last seen wearing pink shorts and a black t-shirt.
