A two-alarm fire on Citadel Bluff Close N.W. severely damaged a home on Friday.
At approximately 2:10 a.m. Calgary fire crews responded to reports of a house fire, a news release said Friday.
“Crews evacuated homes on either side of the source home, and began a defensive attack to bring the fire under control,” the release said.
All occupants of the house escaped with the exception of a cat which is unaccounted for, according to Dennis Raven, district chief with Calgary fire.
“Approximately 20 people were displaced for a short period of time while crews ventilated their home, and took CO readings,” Calgary fire said. “Residents on both sides of the involved home are able to return.”
