A two-alarm fire on Citadel Bluff Close N.W. severely damaged a home on Friday.
At approximately 2:10 a.m. Calgary fire crews responded to reports of a house fire, a news release said Friday.
“Crews evacuated homes on either side of the source home, and began a defensive attack to bring the fire under control,” the release said.
All occupants of the house escaped with the exception of a cat which is unaccounted for, according to Dennis Raven, district chief with Calgary fire.

“Approximately 20 people were displaced for a short period of time while crews ventilated their home, and took CO readings,” Calgary fire said. “Residents on both sides of the involved home are able to return.”
There were no injuries and investigators are on the scene.
