Vernon hospice evacuated because of rising creek

North Okanagan Hospice Society

The North Okanagan Hospice Society is evacuating its residents to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

The hospice is next to BX Creek, which is spilling over its banks.

Residents of the care home will stay at the hospital until the flood threat passes.
