Voters in Oakville have elected Stephen Crawford of the Progressive Conservative party as their MPP in the 2018 Ontario election.

Oakville is an upscale Toronto suburb situated along the shores of Lake Ontario between Mississauga and Burlington. The northern boundary for much of this riding is Upper Middle Road West, though it extends to Dundas Street East for a small stretch near Mississauga.

History

Liberal Kevin Flynn has held this riding since 2003 and won by margins ranging from 3,500 to 7,000 votes. In 2014, he claimed 49.4 per cent of ballots cast. Prior to that, Gary Carr held the riding for the PCs from 1990 to 2003.

This 94 sq. km riding has a population of 120,920 as of 2016.
