Woman with Alzheimer’s disease found safe in Edmonton after being reported missing

Edmonton police say a 70-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s disease who was reported missing on April 25 was located safe and sound.

In a news release issued Wednesday night, police said Karen Noel was last seen at 10 a.m. in Mill Woods and that she was likely “travelling on foot.” They added Noel wears a MedicAlert bracelet.

Just after 1 p.m. on Thursday, a citizen noticed Noel in the area of 50 Street and Ellerslie Road and called police.
