Mitch Campsall has easily won re-election in the race for mayor of 100 Mile House, earning 67 per cent of the vote, according to unofficial results posted by CivicInfo BC. This will be Campsall’s fourth term in office, after also serving another 11 years on council.
The district’s council will be filled by incumbents David Mingo and Ralph Fossum, who will join Maureen Pinkney and Christopher Pettman.

History
100 Mile House began as a stop along the Cariboo Wagon Road from Lillooet as gold rushers made their way to the region in the 1860s. The community was one of a number of points along the road that served as supply points for prospectors who were after gold.
