Drivers will be able to pick up travellers on the outer curb outside Door 10 on the arrivals level.
“We will be able to meet the demand for safe, affordable and reliable transportation alternatives at the airport,” Uber Western Canada general manager Ramit Kar said in a statement.
“By entering into this agreement with Uber, Edmonton International Airport joins more than 500 airports around the world where Uber ridesharing services are available and used by travellers.”

Uber returned operating in Edmonton in July 2016 after a several month hiatus when the province unveiled a new insurance policy for ride-sharing companies.
Uber suspended its operations in Edmonton and Calgary after wrangling with the province and cities over how the industry should be regulated.
“We are happy to partner with Uber to meet our customers’ expectations. EIA is committed to providing travellers with a full spectrum of ground transportation options,” EIA president and CEO Tom Ruth said in a statement.
Traffic around the EIA will increase once the outlet mall near the airport opens, which is scheduled to happen on May 2.
