Saskatoon police say a standoff in the Pleasant Hill neighbourhood ended safely on Wednesday .
A 30-year-old man had barricaded himself inside a home in the 100-block of Avenue U South. Police believed he had a knife.
As of 5:05 p.m. CT, the man had been arrested.
