“This individual was healthy and he doesn’t fit into a typical subject profile for a missing person,” says Central Okanagan Search & Rescue spokesperson Ephraim Nowak.

The search has been suspended until any new information comes to light.

“It’s definitely one of those searches where we lie awake at night and wonder where he could possibly be,” says Nowak. “Most likely some sort of accident has befallen him.”

Hamilton loves to walk, sometimes covering up to 70 kilometres a day.
