VANCOUVER – A group concerned about climate change says replacing B.C.’s Massey tunnel won’t fix traffic congestion, but increasing transit will.
Members of the Council of Canadians demonstrated outside a Ministry of Transportation open house on the issue in delta yesterday morning.

Earlier this week, the B.C. government unveiled five proposals to replace the aging tunnel and all plans involve rebuilding or broadening the highway.
But some are concerned that increasing transit is not being considered as an option.
