Street closures and route map for Vancouver’s Saint Patrick’s Day parade

It’s St. Patrick’s Day and Vancouver’s streets will become a sea of green for the ninth annual parade.

If you’re planning on heading downtown to enjoy it, you might want to take transit.

The parade kicks off at Howe and Davie at 11 o’clock.

It will head north on Howe to West Georgia and then east on Georgia to Granville.

It will wrap up around two.

But drivers beware, there will be several closures. The Granville Bridge will be shut down southbound from 8 a.m. until the end of the parade.
