Some kind-hearted people are coming to the financial aid of a devastated Kelowna family who lost a loved one in a house fire.
Loree Dubuque, her spouse their two young children escaped their burning home early last Tuesday morning.
But Dubuque died after going back into the house to try to rescue their dog.

The home and contents were destroyed in the fire which was caused by an electrical fault.
The Springvalley Community Bottle Drive will raise funds to help the family.
It happens this Saturday in the Springvalley Elementary school parking lot on Ziprick Road from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
“Come drop off your unwanted cans/bottles or come help us sort,” says organizer Megan Elmhurst. “Donations for the family will also be accepted at the bottle drive.”
A GoFundMe page is also collecting money for the family and contributions can also be made through the TD bank at Plaza 33 in Rutland.
