A 24-year-old Toronto area man has been charged with careless driving and the reason behind it may be surprising.
Late Thursday afternoon, Ontario Provincial Police were contacted by several motorists on Highway 401, near Mallorytown, east of Kingston.
Police say they reported a transport truck swerving in and out of lanes.
When officers managed to pull the rig over, they determined the alleged reason the truck was swerving was that the driver had been urinating into a bottle while mobile.
Police remind all motorists there are a number of service centres along Highway 401 offering a variety of amenities, including washrooms.
In fact, there is one not far from where the trucker was pulled over.
