RCMP in northern Alberta are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of a young horse near Grande Prairie. Police said it appears the animal was shot in the head.
Grande Prairie Rural RCMP were called to a property in the Grovedale, Alta. area on Sunday where the horse was found dead. Police said no other animals were found to be harmed.
