Montreal police are investigating after a 44-year-old man was found dead in a commercial parking garage in Montreal’s LaSalle borough, on Newman Boulevard near Lapierre Street.
Officers received a call from a person who discovered the body at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
According to Caroline Chèvrefils, spokesperson with the Montreal police, the victim’s body showed signs of violence and was found near a car.

It was also confirmed that the identity of the victim was known to police.
Chèvrefils said no witnesses have come forward and police have made no arrests.
This is the fifth homicide of the year in Montreal.
