Global Montreal was nominated for three awards in the Central Region by the Radio Television Digital News Association.
The RTDNA Canada Awards aim to recognize excellent work in journalism by honouring programs, stations, news organizations and individual journalists.
“These prestigious RTDNA awards not only recognize excellence in journalism, they also reflect a healthy, vibrant and increasingly curious profession determined to remain committed to seeking out facts, balance and objectivity,” says RTDNA Canada president, Ian Koenigsfest.

Nominees were announced Friday morning, Global Montreal was nominated as finalist for three entries in Canada’s central region.

Global Montreal is nominated for its November 5 online municipal election coverage in the Digital Gord Sinclair News-Live Special Events Award category.
