A New York firefighter is in critical condition after part of a burning building collapsed and fell on fire crews early Monday morning.
WABC reported that four firefighters were injured in the incident, with two being taken to hospital for treatment.

Video captured outside the Brooklyn home showed a part of the facade and roof of the apartment collapse and fall directly on top of firefighters as they attempted to get into the burning home through the front door.

One firefighter could be seen falling backwards and tumbling down the stairs to the walk-up.
No residents were injured in the fire.
The cause of the blaze was not immediately determined and remains under investigation.
