Montreal's Mitec Telecom Inc., a maker of high-tech wireless and satellite network equipment, said Tuesday there ars signs that global demand for communications infrastructure products is picking up after the slowdown caused by the recession. Its military-based communications business, through a subsidiary acquired in 2008, continues to grow steadily, CEO Dan Piergentili added.
