The Fargo Moorhead Convention & Visitors Bureau has partnered up with several restaurants, hotels, and the West Acres Mall to bring Canadians back across the border.

Johnson said over the last couple of years they’ve noticed a decline in Canadians coming across the border to North Dakota, and a lack of Manitoba license plates in the parking lots.

“We miss Canadians,” he said.

The month of March will be all about Canadians in Fargo, North Dakota.

“If it’s a hundred dollar [hotel] room, it’d cost you $81,” Johnson said, adding that there will be discounted hotel rooms to match the Canadian dollar every weekend in March, and there’s more.
