Dundas woman dies from injuries after being struck by tow truck, police looking for witnesses

Hamilton police are continuing to investigate a collision which has now killed a Dundas pedestrian.

The 71-year-old was hit by a tow truck two weeks ago at the crosswalk at King Street West and Sydenham Road.

The truck was turning the corner at the time.

The senior died of her injuries on Thursday and she is not being named at the request of her family.

Speed, drugs and alcohol have all been ruled out as factors.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit is in charge of the investigation and wants to hear from any witnesses that have not
yet come forward.
