U.S. State Dept. taking Wall’s Keystone XL support into consideration

REGINA – Thanks, and we’ll keep your concerns in mind.

Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall has received a letter from the U.S. State Department thanking him for a letter he and 10 governors wrote President Barrack Obama in January in support of the proposed Keystone X-L pipeline.

The letter says the topics Wall and the governors raised; energy security, employment, transport efficiency and reliability will all be considered as an analysis of the proposed route is completed.

Wall is going to Washington this week to urge approval of the pipeline and to highlight green initiatives taking place in Saskatchewan.
