WINNIPEG – A couple planning to buy an IPhone 5 on Kijiji instead was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday evening.
The two made arrangements via email to meet the seller at a home in the North End in Winnipeg, police spokesman Const. Jason Michalyshyn said. When they arrived, they felt unsafe, so they contacted the seller via email, asking him to meet them at their car.

The seller insisted they go to the door, but when they got there, the man who answered the door said he knew nothing about the ad.
As they got into their vehicle, they were confronted by a man with a sawed-off shotgun who demanded they hand over their money, they told police.
No arrests have been made, police said Thursday morning.
