Cash, cigarettes stolen in Saskatoon armed robbery

Police are trying to find the man responsible for an armed robbery at a Saskatoon business on Monday.

The theft happened at around 8:20 p.m. CT in the 1800-block of Broadway Avenue.

A masked man reportedly entered the business and demanded cash while threatening to spray an employee with what Saskatoon police believe was bear spray or something similar.

The man fled in an unknown direction with cash and cigarettes.

He is described as Caucasian, five-foot 10, with a medium build. Police said he was wearing a black balaclava-type mask, a camo or tan coloured jacket and jeans.
