QMJHL Roundup: Jonathan Drouin leads Mooseheads over Rocket 7-0

HALIFAX – Jonathan Drouin scored three times and Zachary Fucale stopped 30 shots Tuesday as the Halifax Mooseheads shut out the P.E.I. Rocket 7-0 in the lone game in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Luca Ciampini added a goal and two assists for Halifax (43-6-3), while Konrad Abeltshauser and Stephen MacAulay each chipped in with a goal and an assist.

Darcy Ashley had the other goal for the Mooseheads, who got two assists each Matthew Boudreau and Stefan Fournier.

Halifax was without the injured Nathan MacKinnon, who is expected to miss up to two weeks with a leg injury.

Antoine Bibeau allowed six goals on 30 shots for P.E.I. (30-21-2) before being replaced by Maxime Legace midway through the third period.

Legace finished with five saves the rest of the way.
