TORONTO – A man was rushed to hospital after he was shot in the back in Regent Park Wednesday morning.
Police responded to a call at 220 Oak Street, in the Dundas Street and River Street area, just before 7 a.m.

Emergency officials confirm the 45-year-old male was rushed to St. Michael’s Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Police have not yet released a suspect description.
