The SUV’s driver and passenger suffered minor injuries and were taken to local hospital, while a four-month-old inside the vehicle was uninjured. The driver of the cement truck was also uninjured, police said.
The crash also caused some 200 litres of diesel fuel to spill onto the roadway and into a nearby drainage ditch, police said, adding that the Ministry of Environment had been called to the scene along with the Oxford County Roads Department.
Few other details have been released, but police say charges are pending in the incident.
