We are living in a world of incredible environmental change.

We have changing weather patterns on one hand and renewable forms of energy on the other.

We have wind power from the great outdoors and solar panels for your home.

Electric cars are still too expensive for most, but I recall a trucker saying to me a few years ago that there would never be an electric semi pulling a loaded trailer because it would just be too heavy.

Well, look what’s happening with Tesla in California.  They now have an electric semi-trailer on display.

They say it can carry a full load over 800 miles on a single charge.  Not only that, it gets up to speed very quickly and has between-the-lines technology.

Production will begin in 2019.  Is this the beginning of the end of the diesel semi we all know?

Tesla says that in the long run it will cost less than a diesel considering fuel savings and lower maintenance.

It may be a stretch sometimes to try to wrap your head around all of the science behind this, but it sure is exciting.

Let me know what changes you would like to see.
