A fire forced the evacuation of a Dorval family Tuesday night.
Montreal firefighters were called to a fire at an apartment on Lakeshore Road around 11 p.m.

The fire started in the kitchen of a second-floor apartment.

“Firefighters were able to put out the fire before it spread,” said Montreal firefighters’ spokesperson Bruno Ruscio.
“But the kitchen was destroyed, there is an estimated $50,000 in damage.”
Nobody was injured in the blaze.
