A Nova Scotia man is in hospital and another is behind bars, following a stabbing in Millbrook, N.S.
RCMP were called to a home on Fern Drive at around 1 a.m. on Nov. 9.

Once on scene, police say they located a 56-year-old man who was suffering from stab wounds. The victim was transported to hospital by EHS LifeFlight where he remains with serious injuries.
Police located the suspect, a 42-year-old man, attempting to flee the scene.

After a struggle, the suspect was arrested and taken into custody.
The man, whose name has not yet been released, is charged with attempted murder. He will appear in Truro Provincial Court at a later date to answer to the charges.

RCMP say the investigation into the stabbing continues.
