Sask. health centre temporarily closed due to mould, structural issues

INVERMAY, Sask. – A health-care centre in eastern Saskatchewan has been closed due to structural issues and mould.

Staff at the Invermay Health Centre first noticed the problem earlier this month.

Tests found mould and problems with the stability of the floor.

The building is now closed to the public and all long-term care residents and staff are being moved out.

Health officials say residents have places to go.

There’s no word on how long repairs are expected to take.
