EDMONTON- A serious collision in west Edmonton has left two people in hospital Thursday night.
The collision happened on Yellowhead Trail east near 231st Street, just before 10:00p.m.
Edmonton police say a mini van hit the back of a grader and went into the ditch.
STARS Air Ambulance was called in and transported one person to hospital. The other occupant of the mini van was taken to hospital by ground ambulance.
A portion of the Yellowhead was still closed as of 11:15 Thursday night and police continued their investigation.
There is no word on the condition or identities of either of the occupants.
