Shooting in southeast Calgary sends one to hospital

Calgary police are investigating a shooting that sent one person to hospital early Saturday morning.

Officers were called just after 1:30 a.m. to the 3000 block of 17 Ave. S.E.

Upon arrival they found one person with apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.

No other details are available at this time but police say they are speaking to witnesses to determine exactly what happened.
