Pedestrian injured after collision in Ville-Marie

A 20-year old woman suffered injuries to her head and legs after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening.

According to Montreal police spokesperson Caroline Chèvrefils, the incident happened at the intersection of De Lorimier Avenue and Sainte-Catherine Street around 6:30 p.m.

Chèvrefils said the pedestrian was walking on Sainte-Catherine Street when the driver, a 23-year-old woman, drove through a red light.

The pedestrian is expected to survive.
