Alberta Parks is warning People hiking in the Kananaskis area to be extra vigilant after multiple cougar sightings along Ha Ling Trail, southwest of Canmore.
An Alberta Parks spokesperson said Friday evening that the trail was still open.

- Make plenty of noise and travel in a tight group. Keep children close.
- Be aware of your surroundings. Leave the area if you see or smell a carcass.
- Keep your pet on a leash at all times.
- Carry bear spray. Ensure it is easily accessible and know how to use it.
