Manhunt in Minden Hills ends with arrest

An OPP manhunt in Minden has ended with the arrest of a suspect.

Haliburton Highlands OPP arrested a man without incident at a residence in the community of Dysart shortly before 4:30 p.m. Thursday – two days after he allegedly assaulted an officer and fled.

Creighton Griffin, 27, is charged with resisting a peace officer, possession of a scheduled II substance (cannabis marijuana under 30 grams) and five counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing in Lindsay on Friday.
