RCMP investigate serious crash in Airdrie 

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a serious crash on Edmonton Trail and Country Centre in Airdrie at 1:15 p.m. on Sunday.

RCMP said it appeared that there was a head on collision and four vehicles were involved.

Three people were taken to hospital in serious non life-threatening condition, according to officials.

Police said the road is was blocked by debris in both directions and a collision analyst was called to the scene.

RCMP asked motorists are asked to avoid the area while they investigate the cause of the collision.
