Masked gunman holds up Saskatoon 7-Eleven

A man made off with cash in an early morning armed robbery in Saskatoon.

The partially masked man entered the 7-Eleven in the 1000-block of 8th Street East at around 4:40 a.m. CT on Thursday.

He was armed with a gun and demanded money from the two employees.

He then fled on foot.

Neither employee was injured.

A police dog was unsuccessful in tracking down the thief.

He is approximately five-foot eight and around 130 pounds. He was wearing a mask covering half his face, a blue hooded sweater, blue jeans, black shoes, and a red and black hat, and was carrying a brown backpack.
