Chambers has been limited to just six games this season following a lower-body injury early in training camp. He has played in six games, catching four passes for 40 yards.

Chambers returned to the Eskimos in the off-season after spending the 2016 campaign with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Chambers is a six-year CFL veteran and has recorded 1,543 yards receiving and has scored eight touchdowns.

He was named the Most Valuable Canadian in the 2015 Grey Cup game when the Eskimos beat the Ottawa Redblacks.

Chambers is a native of Markham, Ontario.
