A pretrial date of Dec. 15, 2017, has been set for a retired orthodontist who spent several years practicing on North Front Street in Belleville, Ont..
In February 2017, Belleville Police launched an investigation into Anthony Garry Solomon after it was brought to their attention that the doctor may have been filming his clients, without their knowledge or consent for several years.
Police alleged the 69-year-old orthodontist recorded adults and minors “inappropriately.”
In July, Belleville and Toronto police executed a search warrant at a Toronto residence and arrested the doctor and charged him with voyeurism of an adult, voyeurism of a minor, as well as possession of and making child pornography.
The case is currently under a publication ban to protect the alleged victims’ identities and the evidence in the case which has been described as “massive.”
Belleville Police said they’re still trying to identify and track down further alleged victims. Anyone with information is being asked to call police or Crimestoppers.
