Wellington County OPP have identified two drivers killed in a head-on crash in Mapleton, north of Kitchener, on Saturday afternoon.
Beverly Coveny, 74, of St. Marys and Trevor Vollett, 38, of Arthur were identified as the deceased on Monday afternoon.

According to investigators, the crash involved a 2015 Ford Explorer towing a boat and a 2017 Jeep Compass on County Road 12 near County Road 45.
The Explorer was headed southbound but, for unknown reasons, ended up in the northbound lanes and collided head-on with the northbound Compass as it came over a hill.
Coveny’s female passenger in the Explorer, also of St. Marys, remains in hospital in critical but stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
