A 64-year-old woman was taken to hospital in serious condition after a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 1A at around 11 a.m. on Saturday, according to RCMP.
The RCMP said the crash happened on Cochrane Hill.
The woman was the driver and lone occupant in the vehicle, which mounties said was travelling west when she lost control of her car and it rolled several times.
She was trapped inside the vehicle and Cochrane Fire Services extricated her, according to the RCMP.
The Cochrane woman was flown to Foothills Hospital by STARS Air Ambulance and remains in serious condition.
RCMP continue to investigate what caused the crash.
Anyone that may have witnessed the rollover is asked to call RCMP.
