Premier Brad Wall told reporters Wednesday that over the course of the summer, RCMP questioned him extensively about the Global Transportation Hub.
He added that he did not have a lawyer present.
In November 2016, provincial auditor Judy Ferguson told the Public Accounts Committee that an audit into the GTH did not “conclusively state that there was no conflict of interest, fraud or wrongdoing with respect to these land transactions related to GTH.”

It was at that meeting that Ferguson confirmed RCMP were investigating the land deal.
“We’re going to let the RCMP do its work and when that work is concluded, I won’t rule out something further in terms of inquiry if there’s something missing,” Wall said.
Global Transportation Hub, a Crown corporation, bought 41 acres of land at a cost of $1.2 million in February 2014 and in March 2014.
The province completed the transaction by purchasing 204 acres of land west of Regina at a cost of $21 million.
Before GTH bought the land in late 2013 for $21 million, it was bought and sold numerous times at escalating prices.
On Tuesday, Saskatchewan Party leadership candidate Gord Wyant said he would launch a public inquiry into the GTH if he was elected leader.
