Chinook Centre security guard fired after video emerges of weekend incident

CALGARY- A security guard at Chinook Centre has been fired, after a video emerged of a man being detained and punched at the mall.

The footage was posted to YouTube over the weekend, and appears to show one of the security guards punching a man three times while he is on the ground outside the mall. Although the video does not show what led to the takedown, audio can be heard suggesting the man had a pair of scissors on him.
