Quebec Health Minister Gaétan Barrette made the announcement Friday, saying the clinic would primarily serve the anglophone community.

“It is the first super clinic that will be open in the McGill network and in the English-speaking community,” Barrette said.

The clinic will be the city’s fifth super clinic — the province’s 18th — and will start operations Sept. 11.

The aim is to treat a minimum of 30,000 patients a year, offering walk-ins and providing services like radiology, blood tests and ultrasounds.
